Bola Adeshina
FOUNDER
Bola Adeshina is the Creator of The Peace Workout, a Health and Wellness Recovery company that serves underrepresented and marginalized communities. Bola considers herself to be a Gopher-Bull because she studied at the University of Minnesota and graduated from the University of South Florida. Bola was a Director at the University of South Florida for one of the largest non-profit organizations in the world and educated the community on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal success skills, business ethics, and personal success skills.
Bola Adeshina is a Master Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Fitness Nutritionist, Athletic Trainer, and Certified Breast feeding & Lactation counselor. She sits on multiple boards that focus on enhancing physical activity, nutrition, and equitable access to resources in rural and under served areas. Bola serves as the Director of Community Relations for She Speaks Solutions a Non Profit that breaks the stigma around understanding Mental Health in Communities. Bola is also a Wellness Ambassador for FBWW (The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness). Bola teaches, educates, and implements projects in the community on the connection between Physical Activity and Nutrition which play a vital role in mental health. She is a member of the Tallahassee Florida Civic Association. Bola is also a Facilitator for Your Heart Your Diabetes and works with counties to educate on agriculture, nutrition, and creating more sustainable community’s through building within. As a Natural Food Chef and Herbalist, Bola recently launched her 2023 new program “Soil to Boil” that educates on how you can eat what you grow and showcases Nigerian- American fusion recipes that provide phytonutrients that are beneficial for the body to function at its highest. Bola recently became one of the NYSS (National Youth Sports Strategy Champions) a program created by ODPHP and the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. She also utilizes Beyond Sport as a tool for resources in L.E.A.N youth camps and Senior centers which provide mental wellbeing resources to those communities.
Grace Kilani
Director of Advocacy Programs
Grace Kilani is a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional who has made a significant impact in the field of nursing. Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, Grace moved to the United States in January 2001 in pursuit of her dreams. She embarked on her educational journey at Hillsborough Community College, where she obtained her Associates in Science, laying the foundation for her rewarding nursing career. Eager to expand her knowledge and skills, she enrolled at Jersey College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Grace began her professional career as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Geriatrics. Her time working in a hospital setting exposed her to the challenges faced by patients and the need for compassionate and comprehensive care. Driven by a desire to make a greater impact, she transitioned to a role as a case manager, where she could engage with patients on a more personal level and oversee their holistic care. Currently, Grace works at Empath Health, where she continues to make a positive difference in the lives of her patients. Grace also takes the time to educate individuals who lack medical knowledge, providing them with valuable guidance and advice on treatment plans.
Grace Kilani exemplifies the qualities of a dedicated healthcare professional. Her journey from Uganda to the United States showcases her determination and commitment to her chosen path.
Ifeoma Mozie
Director of Health & Nutrition Services
Ifeoma Mozie is a dedicated nurse practitioner who works as a hospitalist at a local hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Her primary responsibilities include admitting patients from the emergency room to the various hospital units, including the general floor and the intensive care unit (ICU). Additionally, she is responsible for answering calls and providing essential medical care to patients under her care.
Ifeoma’s educational journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Recognizing her passion for providing acute care to adults and older patients, she pursued further education at the University of Texas at Arlington. There, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in the adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program, equipping her with specialized knowledge and skills in managing acute illnesses and complex medical conditions.
With a strong belief in the connection between health and overall well-being, Ifeoma emphasizes the importance of nutrition, physical activity, and spiritual engagement in achieving optimal health. She understands that education plays a vital role in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
Jay Ortiz
Director of Mental Health Services
LMHC Jay Ortiz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience in various clinical settings. With a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges, Jay has made a significant impact in the field of mental health counseling. Assesses ER patients exhibiting psychiatric or mental health problems, including those brought to the hospital under the Florida Baker Act. Determines the seriousness of specific crises and collaborates with medical staff and on-call psychiatrists. Provides remote therapy services to BetterHelp.com subscribers. Utilizes an eclectic form of therapy, incorporating various established approaches such as person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and Gestalt therapy. Facilitated two mental health online courses: “Mental Health Issues in the Homeless Population” and “Forensic Approaches to Mental Health Issues and Domestic Violence.
Liteena Parks
Director of Educational Development
LiTeena is the CEO of SheSpeaksSolutions Inc. A non-profit organization that advocates for mental health resources in diverse under-served communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Dual Master’s in Management and Human Resources. She held the position of President of Toastmasters for the corporate division for 3 years. She created the mentor for the corporate leaders and success program in Toastmasters. She is the senior community relations liaison for Mrs. Corporate America which is an organization that promotes the success of Women in Corporate America and entrepreneurship. LiTeena loves working with the youth and has a passion for helping others. She created the first annual World-Wide Mental Health Day at Florida State University in collaboration with Florida A & M University. She is a wife and mother and devotes her life to serving communities at need for alternative Mental Health resources.
Michael Adeshina

Michael Adeshina is a highly dedicated consultant to the board with a passion for Marketing and Graphic design. As an accomplished Student at FIU (Florida International University), he has honed his expertise in multiple fields, combining his creative flair with a strategic mindset to deliver innovative and effective solutions. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Michael consistently exceeds expectations in every project he undertakes. His ability to seamlessly blend creativity and business acumen enables him to develop impactful marketing strategies and visually captivating designs that resonate with target audiences. Michael’s academic prowess further enhances his ability to navigate complex challenges and provide insightful recommendations. He stays up-to-date with the latest trends and industry best practices, ensuring that his work is always at the forefront of innovation. Beyond his technical skills, Michael is recognized for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and collaborative nature. In many Communities there is a rise in obesity, mental illness, nutritional deficit and chronic illnesses which is why we aim to educate on the importance of “Not Living a One Size Fits All Approach”. We are a Self- Care Lifestyle Health and Wellness Recovery Program. Functional Training, Nutritional Support and Wellness Education are the key fundamentals in The Peace Workout Program.
