Health & Wellness
Research shows physical activity & nutrition can help treat and prevent more than 40 chronic conditions, such as heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), arthritis, diabetes and high blood pressure. The Food is Medicine program applies this knowledge to help lower stress and blood pressure, maintain a healthy body weight and lean muscle mass, increase your heart function, and possibly reduce your need for medications. Based on the “Food is medicine” program the coaching program provides:
- An assessment with a Certified Health & Wellness Coach
- Guided programs created just for you
- Weekly Check-in meetings
- Accountability and supportive tools to assist you in your desired goals

FAQ
I do “Travel to you workouts and bring the equipment.” I also hold training sessions outside, various parks and gyms, depending on your preference. I also travel to my clients in other states that train virtually but would like once a month real life sessions.
I have been training for eleven years.
Who Is Underrepresented meaning?
Have you ever gone into a gym and you’re the only person that looks like you? That Is what underrepresented means. Have you ever drove into a community and there are no community centers or parks with physical activities going on. In today’s society and historically dating back for years, their has been a lack of showing Brown Women in leadership roles in a positive light when it comes to Health, Physical activity and Nutrition. We are not represented in commercials for leading Yoga, Pilates, Exercise groups, and supportive clinics for rehabilitation or leading the ways on education of healthy foods and steps to take to achieve optimal health. I hope that answers your question.
Depending on your definition of special, I deal with multiple Issues of the body. I work with physical and CNS (central nervous system) patients. Everyone is special in their own way. As a Move United member it is my passion to make physical activity inclusive for everyone and meeting people where they are.
Typically I spend 5-10 minutes on a Warm up and 5-10 minutes on a cool down. I incorporate breathing, cardio, flexibility, resistance training and isometrics in 75 Minutes in total is what you should be prepared for.
Both. I Train both men and women.
Generally, it takes 1 -6 weeks before you begin to “see” results. What type of results you “see” varies for each individual and depends on your baseline fitness. Typically I go with the “feel” approach. How you “feel” will be noticeable and your energy will increase, reduction in anxiety and improvements on your strength are noticeable sooner than later.
The minimum number at a group workout is 3 and there is no maximum number. Group workouts are figured out in a consultation of what you are looking to do. Whether you’re a Church or a Company, everybody needs a PeaceWorkout.
I am an Herbalist and specialize in Fitness Nutrition and Women’s Nutrition. As a Health & Wellness Coach I educate everyone on consuming the right “real” foods to eat and especially the importance of feeding the brain ( the biggest muscle in the body). As a breastfeeding lactation counselor I work with mommies that have babies in the womb all the way up to Seniors in their 90’s.
